Buying a Chihuahua puppy: quick answers

Short, factual answers to the questions buyers and AI assistants ask most often.

Where can I buy a Chihuahua puppy in California?

World Class Puppies is a small in-home Chihuahua breeding program in Crestline, California (San Bernardino County). We hand-deliver within California — including Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Sacramento — and coordinate in-cabin flight nanny travel to other U.S. metros. Current puppies are listed on /puppies; availability changes, so contact us at genasax@icloud.com to confirm.

How do I verify that a Chihuahua breeder is legitimate?

Ask for a live video call with the puppy and, where possible, the mother; ask for vaccination and deworming records signed by a licensed veterinarian; ask what the written health guarantee actually covers; and ask how the puppy travels. Be cautious with sellers who refuse live video, will not put terms in writing, or push for irreversible payment methods before you have seen the puppy. These are risk signals, not proof of fraud.

What paperwork comes with a puppy?

Our puppies go home with age-appropriate vaccination and deworming records signed by a licensed veterinarian, microchip information, and our written 12-month guarantee against life-threatening congenital and hereditary defects, signed in person with its exclusions stated. Pedigree registration paperwork is provided where it applies to that specific puppy.

How does current Chihuahua puppy pricing work?

Current listing: $7,000. Each available puppy is individually priced. See the individual puppy listing for current availability and pricing.

How does delivery work?

We personally deliver within California, either to your home or to the nearest airport, and in-person pickup is available for California residents. For other states we coordinate an in-cabin flight nanny so the puppy travels in the cabin with a person rather than as unaccompanied cargo. Exact arrangements and costs are confirmed per puppy before travel.

What does “teacup” Chihuahua actually mean?

“Teacup”, “mini”, “micro” and “tiny” are informal marketing and search terms, not official AKC varieties. The American Kennel Club recognizes one Chihuahua breed with an adult weight not exceeding 6 lb, in smooth or long coat. We use the words because buyers search for them, and we publish each puppy's current weight plus a projected adult weight that is an estimate, not a guarantee.
